Tony Hardy, J.D.
“I believe that the next ten years of my career would be most impactful developing and mentoring the next group of commercial real estate market leaders.”
This playbook is that mentorship, written down.

Commercial REALTOR® Feature
Connecting, elevating, and inspiring Chicago’s top real estate leaders. Tony Hardy was spotlighted as the Commercial REALTOR® cover feature for his work pioneering the resimercial approach and leading commercial brokerages across the Mid-America region.
What others have said
“Tony is a natural leader, and he'll be instrumental in our mentorship and growth going forward.”
“Prior to joining ONEChicago, Hardy spent a decade leading a top-producing team at Marcus & Millichap focused on multifamily sales. His team completed over 100 transactions generating more than $500 million in sales volume.”
“South Shore and the surrounding submarkets are still undervalued, with high renter demand and solid investment fundamentals.”
“Diverse practitioners are underrepresented and underestimated in commercial real estate, so having a diverse team is honestly one of our biggest competitive advantages.”
Tools, strategies and systems. That is the whole revolution.
As Chair of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® CommercialForum, Tony launched a commercial contracts program that gave boutique offices access to the contracts, forms and LOIs the established commercial brokerages had always kept in-house. Independent agents could finally compete for the same assignments with the same paper. A Broker’s Playbook does the same thing for the rest of the job: the tools, strategies and systems that used to live only inside big commercial shops, written down so any broker or investor can run them.

He holds a J.D. from Whittier Law School — a legal background that comes in handy when the deals get hairy.
On Fox 32
Same show, same week the Bears were threatening to leave Chicago. Tony stayed on the market.
On Flannery Fired Up, Tony broke down the Chicago multifamily market for Fox 32's audience — the same week the Bears were making headlines about leaving the city. While everyone else chased the stadium story, Tony kept the focus on where renters, investors, and the deal flow actually live.
Tony's first deal was a house hack: he moved into a four-unit building, rented the other three, and watched the rent outpace his corporate paycheck. Twenty years and 200+ commercial transactions later, the same instinct runs through every chapter of this book.
